Why Sponsor the Games?

Type 1 diabetes is a disease which strikes children suddenly and requires multiple injections of insulin daily or a continuous infusion of insulin through a pump. Insulin, however, is not a cure for diabetes, nor does it prevent its eventual and devastating complications which may include kidney failure, blindness, heart disease, stroke, and amputation.

With your help, we are moving research from the laboratory bench to the patient's bedside, translating scientific advances into longer, healthier lives for those with diabetes. With your help, we are moving closer to our goal ... a cure for diabetes and its complications.

Sponsorship Levels

Sponsorships are available on a first-come first-serve basis. Benefits of each sponsor and donor category are listed below and in the Sponsorship Brochure.

Please download the Sponsorship Commitment Form and return it with your check to Audrey Kerr at JDRF. Ad specs for your Yearbook Ad will be sent once your commitment is received. The deadline for ads is June 5, 2008 .

Gold/Silver/Bronze Event Sponsors

All of the sporting events are available for sponsorship at the Gold Event ($8,000) or Silver Event ($6,000) levels. Bronze Event ($5,000) sponsorships are available for various event operations categories without which the Games could not successfully function.

Note that a sponsorship of $5,000 or more entitles a firm (or individual) to a foursome at the Pre-Event Sponsors Golf Tournament to be held on Monday, April 28, 2008 at River Creek Country Club in Leesburg, VA. Click here for more details.

Gold/Silver/Bronze Donors

Funds provided to JDRF go directly to research. On average, 80% of every dollar raised through the Real Estate Games annual event supports funding top research programs around the world.

Corporate Table Sponsors
You or your company may purchase a Corporate Table at the Games. The corporate tables are just outside of Bender Arena under a tent where all participants and individuals attending the Games will have access to walk by.

Auction Donors
Live and silent auctions will take place at the Pre-Event Sponsors Golf Tournament (April 28, 2008) and at the After Party the day of the Event (June 5, 2008). Luxury vacation homes, sporting event tickets, rounds of golf, weekend getaways and theatre tickets were just a few of the items auctioned last year. Be creative and come up with an item or service that you can donate to the auction. To donate, download the Auction Donor Form.

Cash Donors
Cash donations help to offset event expenses and increase the amount of funds going to diabetes research. Any amount you can contribute is greatly appreciated!

Advertisement in Annual Yearbook
You or your company may purchase an ad in the Annual Event Yearbook, which is distributed to all sponsors and event participants after the Games.
